What is collected

Four things, each for one reason.

• Your name, email and notes when you book a call. The calendar runs on Cal.com, so Cal.com holds the booking as well.
• Whatever you send by email or WhatsApp. It stays in that inbox and is used to reply to you.
• Your question when you use Ask Surinder. It goes to Anthropic's API to write the reply. The country your connection reports goes with it, so prices come in your currency. This site keeps no record of the conversation. Analytics counts that a question was asked, never the text.
• Which pages are read, from which link, on which device. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure this without cookies. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, measures the same with cookies.

LinkedIn ads

I advertise on LinkedIn, so the LinkedIn Insight Tag loads on every page. It sets a cookie and tells LinkedIn you visited. That is how an ad gets credit for a booking. A booking reaches LinkedIn as one event, without your name or email.

In your browser

Two small notes stay on your device. The link you first arrived from, kept 30 days, so a booking shows which post or ad brought you. And your currency, AED or USD, so prices stay in the one you picked. Fonts come from Google Fonts, so Google sees the request for the font file. The client videos on the homepage stream from Mux, so Mux sees the request and counts the plays.

Not collected

No newsletter, so no mailing list. No chat logs. Nothing is sold. Nothing goes to any service beyond the ones named here.

Removal

Want your data deleted? Write to hey@surinder.design and what I hold is removed within 7 days. The services above keep their own copies under their own policies: Cal.com, Google, LinkedIn, Anthropic, Mux and Vercel. Block the cookies named here with your browser's tracking protection. The site works the same without them.
