# How do you stop an AI agent making a mistake with money?

You limit what it can do alone. The agent pays only inside the rules you set: approved payees, a limit, a monthly budget. Each payment waits 10 minutes before it goes out, so you can undo it. Anything outside the rules waits for a person. Every step is logged, with the rule it followed.

## What does the agent do on its own?

Only what your rules allow. You set them in plain terms: pay approved suppliers, up to a limit, within this month's budget.

Inside those lines the agent works without asking. That is where it gives your team its hours back.

## Why the 10 minute wait?

Because a mistake caught before the money moves costs nothing. The wait turns a wrong payment into an undo.

The person who owns the payment sees it the moment it is queued. 1 tap cancels it. After 10 minutes it goes out.

## What happens outside the rules?

The agent stops and asks. A new supplier, an amount over the limit, bank details that changed since last month.

It shows what it wants to pay, why, and which rule stopped it. A person approves or declines. The agent never guesses with money.

## How do you check what it did?

Every step is logged: what it read, what it decided, which rule applied. Finance can trace any payment back to its rule.

People trust what they can check. The log is what lets a finance lead switch the agent on.

## In 1 picture

The money rule. Inside your rules it pays, with a 10 minute undo. Outside them, a person decides.

1. Invoice arrives: The agent reads it
2. Rules check: Payee, limit, budget
3. 10 minute wait: Anyone can undo it
4. Paid: Logged with its rule

When outside the rules at step 2: A person approves. Sees what, why, and the rule that stopped it.
